...What Influences Your Creative-Side?

With each new Season, they're new moods that usually come along with it. Now, I'm no expert in the human psyche...these are just my observations of others throughout life's various experiences. They're obviously going to be overlaps in moods & the Seasons. Nothing in life is, or will be, Black & White. Shades of Grey will always exist.

What this means is that the correlations made below, are just opinions and are not set in stone.  Via the Comments section below, Add your own observations on how you view the Seasons and your own moods during them.

The Season = Your Mood
  1. When you're in Spring, it's bright, warmer and just right. Your mood is usually well balanced, more happy, and more creative.
  2. When you're in Summer, it's brightest, hot, and open. Your mood is usually more collaborative, exploratory, and vibrant.
  3. When you're in Fall, it's cooler, crisp, and nostalgic. Your mood is usually more focused, refreshed, and nostalgic.
  4. When you're in Winter, it's cold and dark. Your mood is usually more of a darker, solitude-nature.

Many artists know this first hand: your work is usually dictated by your moods at that very moment (unless of course it's Commercial Work, then it's dictated by the Client).

Now when I say "that very moment", I'm not saying it in literal-terms...but over the course of any GPX/Art project you're working on.

Your Mood = Your Work
  1. If you're in an awesome mood = you produced breath-taking, ground-breaking work.
  2. If you're in a great mood = you produced extraordinary work.
  3. If you're in a good mood = you produced good, clean work.
  4. If you're in an okay mood = you produced work that needs some minor cleanup.
  5. If you're in a poor mood = you produced poor, novice-like work.
  6. If you're in a bad mood = you failed to stay in within the lines with your crayons.

Does your artwork change with the Seasons?
